General- Product Related

  1. Flower products shown on our website are for indicative purposes only. We try our best to match the actual delivery with the pictures shown. However, there might be slight deviations in the final product based on quality of flowers, variation in colors etc across different cities.
  2. All Pictures of cakes and other gifts are also Indicative. There might be slight variation in design of the cake from city to city.
  3. Pictures of all perishable commodities sweets, cakes etc are strictly indicative. It is not possible to deliver the exact same product as shown on the website in case of sweets since they are bought from sweets shops in the local area only. However, Indiagift will strive to deliver the best quality products as available.
  4. If ordered flowers/cake/fruits/sweets are not available in the desired city, we shall deliver available best quality flowers/cake/fruits/sweets of equal value.
  5. In case of flowers, cakes, fruits & sweets (all being perishable items) if the receiver or any representative is not available at the time of delivery, the order shall be considered as delivered. In such cases, no claim for refund or redelivery will be entertained. If the receiver refuses to take delivery of the products, the order will be deemed as delivered. No request for refund/cancellation will be entertained in such cases of perishable products.
  6. In case of branded items, manufactured by other companies, there is a possibility that the item might be unavailable or discontinued by the manufacturer. In the above scenario, Indiagift will try to replace the original product with another product of similar design and quality. Customer approval will be sort over email or phone. However, in case the customer does not respond within 12 hours to our email, it shall be assumed that the customer has given his/her consent to the change in product.
  7. Branded Chocolates (like Cadbury's, Ferrero Rocher, Nestle chocolate products) sold on the website, might vary in weight from what is mentioned on the website as weight of chocolate items vary as per company policy. Chocolate weights vary from month to month and city to city and Indiagift has no control on this.
  8. The Delivery Confirmation will be sent through email and in no case can it be treated as proof of time of delivery. Confirmation emails or messages might be sent a few hours after the actual delivery.
  9. In case of courier items, if no one available at the shipping address at the time of delivery, the order will be considered as delivered. No demand for refund will be considered in such cases.
  10. Indiagift reserves the right to cancel orders which are of areas non-servicable. In case a customer places an order for locations outside cities and we cannot deliver there, we cancel the order and issue refunds as per our refund policy.

Fixed time and Midnight Delivery

  1. Indiagift offers Fixed Time and Midnight delivery at some locations at a charge of Rs. 250 for midnight delivery and Rs 150 for Fixed Time delivery. This is available in Metro and selected Tier 1 cities only.
  2. In case of Midnight orders, the recipient will be called by our delivery team prior to delivering the order. In case the recipient does not receive the call or refuses to guide the delivery team for directions, Indiagift will take no responsibility for delivery within the promised time slot. No refund request will be entertained in case of Mid-night delivery wherein delivery attempt has been during the Midnight time slot.
  3. Courier Items cannot be chosen for Fixed/Midnight delivery.
  4. For perishable items like cakes and flowers, we attempt Fix/Midnight delivery of your order only ONCE. In the event the delivery is not executed during the attempt, you shall still be charged for the order and no redelivery will be possible. We will consider the order executed in the below cases:
    1) Wrong shipping/delivery address.
    2) Recipient not available.
    3) Premises locked.
    4) Recipient refusing to accept the delivery
  5. In a case of unforeseen circumstances like a natural calamity, national security concerns, bad weather or political disruptions etc, an attempted delivery will be considered as a valid delivery.
  6. Fixed Time slot if of 90 minutes. Our endevor will be to deliver the product within this 90 min slot. In case the delivery is delayed by up to 15 mins, a maximum refund of Rs 75 will be given to the customer. In case the delivery is delayed beyond 15 mins and up to 30 mins, a refund of Rs 100 will be applicable. Delivery beyond 30 mins will entitle the customer to a full refund of Rs 150 paid as Fixed Time Delivery Charges. Under all above circumstances, the customer is eligible for a refund of only the Fixed Time Delivery charges paid by him/her. Under no circumstances can the customer refuse delivery of the gift items due to late delivery and claim a full refund for the value of the complete order. In such cases wherein the customer refuses to take delivery, the order will be considered delivered.
  7. Mid night Delivery slot is between 11:30 PM to 12:30 AM. The receiver will be called before the delivery is attempted. In case the receiver does not pick up the call, Indiagift does not guarantee delivery within the midnight delivery slot. All such cases will be treated as "Delivey Attempted". In such cases, delivery will be done the next morning. Under no circumstance will request for refund of midnight delivery charges be entertained in such cases. Cancellation requests will also not be entertained.

Orders- Pricing and Claims

When you make an order, you are making an offer to purchase, and such offer is subject to acceptance of Indiagift. Your receipt of an order confirmation from Indiagift does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. IndiaGift reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline or cancel your order (in whole or in part) for any reason whatsoever. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. In the event that you are purchasing a gift order, you will be required to accurately provide the gift recipient’s name and shipping address. Your order is not accepted until Indiagift sends you shipping information for the order (or the accepted portion thereof). Notwithstanding the foregoing, you agree that, if Indiagift cancels all or a part of your order, your sole and exclusive remedy is either that (a) Indiagift will issue a credit to your credit/debit card or bank account in the amount charged for the cancelled portion (if your account card has already been charged for the order) or (b) Indiagift will not charge your credit/debit card or bank account for the cancelled portion of the order.

Pricing

All products listed on the Website, their descriptions and their prices are each subject to change. Indiagift reserves the right, at any time, to modify, suspend, or discontinue the sale of any product or services with or without notice. You agree that we will not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of any product or services. In the event a product or service is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or information on such product or services received from IndiaGifts suppliers, we shall have the right, prior to the acceptance of any order, to decline or cancel any such orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and/or you have been charged for such product or service. If you have been already been charged for the order and Indiagift cancels your order, we will issue a credit to your credit/debit card or bank account in the amount of the charge.

Claims
  1. If the order is not delivered by IndiaGift, we would refund the amount 100%. No claim of any other compensation would be accepted.
  2. No claim of whatsoever nature under any circumstances will be tenable other than the claim for 100% refund of payment made. All such claims if any, are to be raised within 24 hours of the delivery.
Delivery Terms
  1. Fresh Baked cakes are available only after 10 AM from bakeries. Thus freshly baked cakes can only be delivered after that time. In exceptional cases, you may request to keep the cake prior day in refrigerator & deliver next morning. But we don't advise this.
  2. The price quoted on our website is for FREE delivery within main city/town. Delivery out of the main city/town and/or outskirts and to remote areas may attract extra delivery charge between INR 49 to INR 749. Our customer care team will call the customer before processing the orders in such cases.

Cancellation and Refunds

All customers are bound by the cancellation and Refund policy as mentioned on the page https://www.indiagift.in/refund-policy Customers are requested to go through the policy above before placing their orders.

Customer Grievance Redressal

In a case of any dispute, the customer needs to email [email protected] with the complaint. IndiaGift Quality team will take up to 48 working hours to respond back to the email. Indiagift does not promise any timeline for dispute resolution.

Valentine Terms and Conditions

All Valentine gifts, orders from the exclusive valentine pages on our website, are bound by the below terms and conditions::

  1. Valentine Week Package- There are Several Serenade/Valentine Week Gifts on the site. Some of which are hand delivery gifts while others have courier gifts. All of the details are clearly mentioned on the product page. Courier Items are sent through our courier partners and there is no guarantee or commitment for the exact date of delivery for any courier item. Courier items will be sent together at one go rather than each gift being sent separately. The perishable items like Flowers and cake will be delivered by hand on that particular day itself.
  2. alentine Combos/Gifts- all Valentine combos will be delivered through our courier partners. IndiaGift will try to ensure that these are dispatched well in time to reach before or on your delivery date. However, Indiagift gives no guarantee for timely delivery for any courier item. No gaurantee is taken for delivery of courier products before Valentine Day for orders placed after 5th February.
  3. If the address is incomplete or mobile number is not verified for Courier items and results in a return of the courier, then Indiagift cannot be held liable and the Order will be considered as Delivered. Kindly provide us correct and complete address along with a mobile number to ensure safe and timely delivery of gifts.
  4. We will not provide Midnight or Fixed Time delivery on 7-13-14-15 Feb for any items.
  5. Delivery timings for Delivery on 7th Feb and 14th Feb are between 6 am to 12 Midnight . There is no time commitment for delivery on these two dates but assured delivery of all confirmed orders will be there. Only a single delivery attempt will be done. In case, the receiver number is not reachble/switched off, a re-delivery cannot be attempted. Such an order will be deemed delivered and no refunds/claims for cancellation will be possible.
  6. No address change/time change/cancellation requests are entertained for Valentine orders. Any order for 7th, 13th, 14th falls in above category. Cancellation, is not possible for any of the above dates.
  7. Indiagift reserves the right to change the prices of any gifts on the site at any time without prior notice. Kindly pre-book your Valentine gifts to ensure you get the best deal.

Courier Products

Indiagift.in works with a variety of partners in India to provide the vast range of gifts to you. Our policies on refunds, exchange and cancellations are dependent on and restricted by the policies of these partners.

PRODUCTS-

A courier product is shipped through our shipping partner DTDC or any similar logistics company and is thus governed by the Terms and Conditions of such company. A courier product is delivered separately from hand delivered products. For products marked courier, delivery date is an estimate. SOME products shipped carry their original manufacturer's warranty(WHEREVER APPLICABLE) as applicable. If you feel the product is defective or incomplete please contact us immediately and we will work out a solution to your satisfaction. Returns are not processed for any products that are tampered with, in used condition, or with damaged packaging etc. Personalised items are not covered under refunds unless there is transit damage or other defects.

DELIVERY-

DELIVERY date of courier products is always TENTATIVE. Indiagift is associated with various Logistics companies of India and depending on the area of location, we choose the shipping partner. Since this product is shipped using the services of our courier partners, the date of delivery is an estimate. Your gift may be delivered a day prior or a day after the chosen date of delivery. Soon after the order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number that will help you trace your order. In case if the recipient is unavailable, we will attempt delivery a second time and in case delivery location is incorrect or the recipient refuses to take the delivery, the delivery shall be deemed to have been made. The courier company will attempt to deliver the package twice before the parcel returns back to the point of origin. No deliveries are made on Sundays and National Holidays. Our courier partners do not call prior to delivering an order, so we recommend that you provide an address at which someone will be present to receive the package. The delivery cannot be redirected to any other address. If the pin code mentioned is non serviceable by our courier partner then the same will be dispatched by INDIAPOST and will take 8-10 working days for delivery. In addition, kindly note that IndiaPost makes a single delivery attempt and if the receiver is not available then it is returned. Thus no redelivery will be possible if receiver is not available at the first delivery attempt.

An order is deemed executed in the following cases-

  1. Wrong or incomplete delivery address.
  2. Receipt unavailable
  3. Delivery location found locked
  4. Refusal to accept my receipt
  5. When a parcel gets returned to the company address after repeated attempts for delivery.
COMPLAINTS & LIABILITY

We welcome your feedback on all of our gifts and experiences. If you have a problem or complaint on the day, please bring it to the attention of your experience manager or contact us at Customer Care as soon as possible, so we have a chance to put matters right.

Whilst we take every care in choosing our suppliers it does not mean that we guarantee the satisfactory performance of any of the gifts. Also at times despite taking care to ensure timely execution - due to reasons beyond our control there could be delays or missed timelines because of traffic related problems, courier delivery delays or National Holidays. IndiaGift's liability for any claim of breach of obligation because of - but not limited to - the factors mentioned above regarding any single voucher or item shall not exceed the price of that item/gift.
